Health Checks
The health checks we provide have proved extremely successful, so much so that we are currently helping Oracle to assess the feasibility of them implementing the same approach. Clients find these health checks very helpful to review business processes and provide gap analysis to ensure effective use of the HCM system for their business needs. With Fusion on the horizon more and more clients are looking to health check their implementations ready for the change. With this in mind our Health Checks are constructed to identify any issues that could cause complications in the implementation process of Fusion and is constantly updated as more Fusion information is release by Oracle.
We offer a number of different heath checks:
System Setup Health Check – An external review of the Oracle configuration and custom code to identify issues with the existing setup and scope for improvement, taking into account the future direction of the clients Oracle strategy and Oracle’s product direction. Typically consists of 2 days on site and 2 days off site to write up. The deliverable is a list of issues and risks with constructive solutions, recommendations and a road map for future development.
HR Process Health Check – Everything in the System Setup Health Check, plus reviewing HR processes in conjunction with the system to see how the system complements or restricts the processes. Typically consists of approximately 5 days on site and 2-3 days of site to write up. The deliverable is a list of issues and risks with constructive solutions, recommendations, identification of training needs and a road map for future development.
Project Health Check - An external review on current projects to ensure the approach is correct and the features of the product are being used in the most appropriate way. This consists of a couple of days at different stages of the project to ensure a quality delivery. Project Health Checks can be carried out any stage of a project to identify potential pitfalls or oversights and to give a confident approach to an implementation. Typically takes approximately 3-9 days in total. The deliverable is a document that contains not only issues and risks with constructive solutions but also confirmation of the quality parts of the project at each stage.
These health checks have been successful for a number of reasons. They provide risks, issues, improvement recommendations, constructive solutions, identification for training needs and road map for future development. They are written in sufficient detail for HR people to understand. In addition, they contain an executive summary for it to be passed to upper management as justification for cost benefit and genuine improvement if work is carried out.
